Welcome to SoulLyra.com (“Site”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site and all services provided by Soul Lyra (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a session, purchasing a service, or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Access and Legal Compliance

Soul Lyra offers virtual spiritual and wellness services that may be accessed worldwide. By booking or attending a session, you confirm that:

• You are legally permitted to receive spiritual or wellness services in your jurisdiction.

• You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.

• You understand that services are provided from Chicago, Illinois, USA.

2. Nature of Services & Scope of Practice

Reiki and related offerings provided by Soul Lyra are complementary wellness practices intended to promote relaxation, self-awareness, and energetic balance.

Soul Lyra does not:

• Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, psychological, or veterinary condition.

• Provide medical, mental health, or veterinary advice.

Reiki is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or veterinary care. Always consult a licensed professional for such matters.

3. Voluntary Participation & Personal Responsibility

By participating in any session, you acknowledge that:

• Participation is voluntary.

• You assume full responsibility for your physical, mental, emotional, and energetic well-being before, during, and after sessions.

• Results vary and no outcomes are guaranteed.

4. Medical, Mental Health & Safety Disclosures

You agree to disclose all relevant information prior to your session, including but not limited to:

• Medical conditions

• Mental health diagnoses

• Injuries or physical limitations

• Pregnancy

• Implanted medical devices

Contraindications

Services are not recommended for individuals experiencing:

• Active psychosis, mania, or delusional states

• Severe psychiatric crises (including suicidal intent)

• Severe or acute medical emergencies

• Active infectious or highly contagious conditions

• Impairment due to alcohol or recreational drugs

• Pacemakers or battery-powered implants

Soul Lyra reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if participation is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

5. Session Requirements (Virtual Services)

For virtual sessions:

• Clients are required to keep their camera on to ensure a grounded, secure, and supportive environment.

• Failure to comply may result in session termination without refund.

6. Confidentiality

All personal information shared during sessions is kept confidential except where disclosure is required by law, including:

• Risk of harm to yourself or others

• Mandated reporting obligations

7. Intellectual Property

All techniques, session content, materials, recordings, methods, and proprietary practices are the exclusive intellectual property of Soul Lyra.

You may not:

• Record sessions (audio or video)

• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or teach session content

• Use Soul Lyra materials for commercial or instructional purposes

Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

8. Payment, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

• Payment is required at the time of booking.

• All sales are final and non-refundable.

• Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

• Late cancellations or no-shows incur a $44 fee.

• Rescheduling is subject to availability.

• Sessions are scheduled for a specific duration. Approved additional time will be billed at a prorated rate.

• Additional fees may apply for in-person sessions.

• No refunds are provided for sessions, packages, or offerings of any kind.

9. Practitioner Rights

Soul Lyra reserves the right to:

• Refuse or discontinue services at any time

• Terminate sessions due to disrespectful behavior, inappropriate conduct, or actions that compromise safety, integrity, or energetic sanctity

In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and decisions are final.

10. Liability Release & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to:

• Release, indemnify, and hold harmless Soul Lyra from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in services.

• This includes, but is not limited to, effects on physical health, emotional well-being, mental health, pets, or medical devices.

11. Reiki Aftercare

You acknowledge that Reiki may release emotions, physical tension, or energetic blockages. You agree to support integration through recommended self-care, which may include:

• Rest and hydration

• Balanced nutrition

• Gentle movement

• Journaling or meditation

• Grounding in nature

• Epsom salt baths or foot baths

12. Pet Reiki & Owner Responsibility

For Pet Reiki services, you confirm that:

• Pets will not wear metal collars, tags, harnesses, or accessories during sessions.

• Reiki is intended to complement—not replace—veterinary care.

• Pets under heavy sedation or exhibiting extreme distress may require rescheduling.

• A calm, quiet environment will be provided.

• Pets with pacemakers or battery-powered implants are not eligible.

You assume full responsibility for your pet’s care and well-being.

13. Third-Party Platforms

Soul Lyra may use third-party platforms for scheduling, payments, or communication. We are not responsible for the policies or performance of third-party services.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the Site or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
